1up Sparks Rumor Wild Fire

1up seems to be pretty convinced that Project Natal, Microsoft's answer to the Nintendo Wii, will be more than a simple peripheral. Rather, it will encompass the launch of an entirely new console. Well, not entirely new, but different enough to warrant this kind of attention.

The new Xbox will be a slight step forward as far as the console's capabilites go, perhaps in response to developer's complaints that they've done all they could with it.

Until Fall of next year, we can only guess at Microsoft's plans for the console. In the meantime, we'll just have to cross our fingers and hope for the best.
